Around here things have been pretty normal. My girls are both finally healthy, Abigail had a cold all winter and Natalie had had a cold for nearly her whole life until last week when she was put on z-pack for her ear infections and it also helped clear up her cold. Natalie continues to sleep like a champ at night and now if I could just get her to nap for more than 45 minutes at a time during the day I'd be set. Overall Natalie is a good baby, she still fusses quite a bit before she goes to sleep but she has finally figured out the whole pacifier thing and has been much happier.
So happy in fact that she is laughing.
And grinning.
And melting my heart.
Abigail has made great strides on the potty training front and I think it's safe to say we're pretty much in the clear. She was doing great and almost accident free up until Natalie's birth and then like everyone said she would she regressed terribly and I put her back in diapers. She was using it as a way to get attention and that was one battle I could not win. So about three weeks ago she asked to wear underwear again and she has now not had an accident for about 4 days. She still wears a diaper for nap and at night time and although she usually wakes up dry after nap I'm not quite ready to give that up cause I don't want her to wake up early from her nap cause she's wet. She has been enjoying the nicer weather and I feel bad cause it's been hard to be outside as much as she'd like. Natalie isn't quite used to it and I can't seem to find a way to make her comfortable, she can't seem to get comfortable in either the sling or the Baby Bjorn and the wind also makes her catch her breath and freak out. So Abigail and I have been going out while Natalie naps and I just bring the monitor. She got this scooter for her birthday that she loves.
She is also starting to enjoy a variety of games including memory. I like this picture because it looks like Abigail and Natalie are playing each other. (And yes Abigail does occasionally wear pants...but only if I make her.)
Things are pretty good around here.
